Relaxation massage
Is a gentle, flowing style of bodywork designed to:
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Improve circulation and lymphatic flow
• Promote better sleep
• Ease minor muscle tension
• Support emotional and physical relaxation
It’s not intended to treat chronic pain or injuries—that’s more the realm of medical or deep tissue massage.

1 hour $85
2 hours $170
Therapeutic Massage
Unlike relaxation massage, therapeutic massage is goal-oriented and may include:
• Pain relief (e.g., neck, back, shoulder)
• Increased range of motion
• Reduction of muscle tension or spasms
• Support for injury recovery or postural imbalances
• Adjunct care for chronic conditions (e.g., fibromyalgia, arthritis)
🔍 Common Techniques
• Trigger Point Therapy: Focused pressure to release knots and referred pain
• Myofascial Release: Gentle sustained pressure to release fascial restrictions
• Neuromuscular Therapy: Addresses nerve and muscle interactions
• Cross-Fiber Friction: Breaks up adhesions and scar tissue
• Active/Passive Stretching: Improves flexibility and joint function
Pressure may range from moderate to deep, depending on client tolerance and goals.
1/2 hour $45
1 hour $100
2 hours $200
Pregnancy Massage
A gentle, nurturing massage designed to:
• Reduce swelling and edema
• Relieve back, hip, and pelvic discomfort
• Ease sciatica and leg cramps
• Improve circulation and lymphatic flow
• Support hormonal balance and stress reduction
It’s typically offered after the first trimester and adapted for each stage of pregnancy.
1/2 hour $45
1 hour $90
Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu (meaning “finger pressure” in Japanese) is a therapeutic modality rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese manual therapy. It’s often described as acupuncture without needles, using pressure on specific points to influence the flow of Qi (life energy) throughout the body.
Unlike Western massage styles, shiatsu is typically performed:
• Fully clothed
• On a mat or low table
• Without oils or lotions
✋ Techniques & Tools
Shiatsu therapists use:
• Thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, knees, and sometimes feet
• Stretching, holding, tapping, kneading, and joint mobilization
• Pressure applied along meridians (energy channels) and tsubo (acupressure points)
Sessions are slow, intentional, and tailored to the client’s energy state—whether to stimulate deficient Qi or diffuse excess energy in cases of stress or anxiety
1/2 hour $60
1 hour $120
Medical massage is not just a style—it’s a clinical approach to massage therapy used to:
• Treat specific medical diagnoses (e.g., chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, fibromyalgia)
• Support rehabilitation and functional improvement
• Reduce pain, inflammation, and muscle dysfunction
• Improve circulation, lymphatic flow, and range of motion
It’s typically ordered by a physician and may be covered by insurance when properly documented.
Medical Massage Requirements for Insurance Coverage
To qualify for insurance reimbursement or approval for medical massage, these steps are usually necessary:
1. Doctor’s Prescription or Referral
• A licensed physician (MD, DO, chiropractor, etc.) must issue a prescription or referral.
• The document should specify:
• Diagnosis or condition (e.g., chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, injury)
• Medical necessity for massage therapy
• Recommended frequency and duration of treatment
